About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Creative Virtual Assistant to support our client, a makeup artist and event planner, with social media management, content creation, and administrative tasks. This role requires someone with experience in social media management, video editing, graphic design, and content planning. You will play a key role in helping build and maintain a consistent online presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
The ideal candidate is a good listener who is calm, detail-oriented, and able to understand and execute requirements with minimal explanation. You should be comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and offering professional recommendations when appropriate.
This is a fully remote position, requiring a reliable computer, stable internet connection, and consistent power supply.
Job Description
Manage and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Create and edit short-form videos and basic graphics for social media.
Develop content ideas and assist with content planning based on goals and target audience.
Plan posting schedules and frequency based on audience activity and platform performance.
Create and add accurate captions and subtitles to video content using relevant tools where required.
Repurpose existing content into different formats suitable for each social media platform.
Monitor social media content and engagement, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
Respond to DMs, emails, and other communications as needed.
Provide administrative support, including scheduling, follow-ups, organization, and other tasks as required.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role.
Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva and CapCut.
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, including content scheduling and social media analytics
Ability to create captions and subtitles for video content using relevant tools.
Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to work in Eastern time zone.
Fluency in Yoruba is an added advantage.
